Heimish (pronounced as hey-mish) is a Korean brand that is based on individual’s uniqueness and beauty. They think that it is all about you and not the makeup itself. Heimish became a big name in the beauty industry because of their All Clean Balm. You can place them in the cult of Korean Beauty brands. I’m not surprised because this cleansing balm is something different than many other brands that I’ve tried, and I have used countless of different cleansing balms out there!

The Heimish All Clean Balm comes in a jar with a spatula. I always find it a plus when brands include a spatula with their products because it works way better and it is more hygiene for your product. What I notice when opening the jar is the fresh and clean fragrance that is escaping from this jar. Some cleansing balms have an odd fragrance, not something you are excited about to try. But with the Heimish All Clean Balm I always enjoy removing my makeup at the end of the day.

How does it work

When using the Heimish All Clean Balm you only need a coin size of the balm to cleanse your face, maybe even less when you are not wearing much makeup. The balm has a rich feeling on the skin and creates a beautiful layer when massaging it. When you apply the balm, the creamy texture melts and will turn into an oil that  gently remove everything: from sunscreen to waterproof eye makeup. What makes this cleansing balm so great is that it is non-irritating for the eyes and it doesn’t sting! Add some water and see how the oil changes into a milky substation. Wash off your skin with luke warm water, no rinsing towel needed! This cleansing balm can be easily removed without leaving any trace of the product, while other cleansing balms may will leave some residue on the skin.

What are the results?

Thanks to the hydrating shea butter, moisturizing coconut extract, vitamins, mineral-enriched donkey milk and citrus herb oil your skin will feel soft and clean after the Heimish All Clean Balm. I often wear a full face of heavy makeup with lots of waterproof mascara, eyeliner and lash glue. With this I can easily remove everything in one step while other cleansing balms still give me some black smudges between my eye lashes. It even works for people with very sensitive skin. Your skin feels squeaky clean and hydrated! It is important to use second step water-based cleanser, you will rinse away airborne bacteria that could cause breakouts and pigmentation.

Is it a must have?

I’ve tried many cleansing balms as a beauty blogger and there are some great ones out there. I was a huge fan of the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm which almost perform the same as the Heimish All Clean Balm. But Clinique is not cruelty-free, their cleansing balm is more expensive and the ingredients are not as great as the Heimish All Clean Balm. Therefore, I would pick the Heimish All Clean Balm as the best option. I would highly recommend this winning cleansing balm, especially for those with extremely sensitive skin. This will make your skin feel super clean and not drying after using it and removed literally everything.
