Evening routine

Age: Mid-forties

Skin type: Dry ( genetic )

Concerns: Thirsty and ageing skin

1. Heimish All Clean Balm

After a long day, I grab the Heimish All Clean Balm. I love starting my evening routine with this product because it fulfill its promise of deep cleaning my skin. Its three-step formula removes all traces of dirt including my mascara. It's my all-time favourite cleansing balm.

2. Pyunkang Yul Cleansing Foam

I like Pyunkang Yul Cleansing Foam that is nice and foamy, it isn’t drying or stripping to my skin, yet it cleanse my skin very well. A pea-sized amount of the product surely goes a long way leaving my face feeling clean and fresh.

3. Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Toner

I use the Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Toner. This product uses black rice that nourishes my dull and tired skin. It helps brighten my skin tone, a must-have for my aging skin.

4. Sheet Mask

I give my skin the extra pampering it needs. As such, I use various hydrating sheet mask. I put on the mask for 20-30 minutes, 3-4 times a week to enjoy its soothing, cooling, hydrating, nourishing and revitalizing benefits.

Huxley Sweet Therapy Scrub Mask

To reduce dead skin cells, I snatch the Huxley Sweet Therapy Scrub Mask. I use this once or twice a week for exfoliating. After using it, my face feels clean and smooth. It helps the skincare products absorb much better into my skin.

5. Neogen Real Vita C Serum

Our skin needs a dose of vitamin C to brighten it up. I prefer to use the Neogen Vita C at night to avoid photosensitivity, which can occur. Vitamin C is used for reducing pigmentation, improves elasticity and repairs damaged cells. Applying before bed is more effective while asleep as it skin repair process is at its most optimal during sleep. I love that that it contains Niacinamide and 22% Vitamin C to bring me that healthy glow. It helps to brighten up my skin and even my skin tone.

6. Eye serum and eye cream ( see morning routine)

I use tapping motions with my index and middle finger and circle around the eyes. Gently repeat this few times going outward along the eyebrows. This helps to create blood flow and help me reduce eye puffiness and dark eye circles.

7. Sioris by Nature Enriched Cream

I love to use rich cream at night to ensure that my skin creates protective layers . The Sioris by Nature Enriched Cream has Phytosphingosine and anti-inflammatory properties to maintain that youthful appearance. It also gives my skin long-lasting moisture and I see a significant improvement in my skin texture after I used it for few weeks.

8. Haruharu Black Rice Facial Oil

This product is something I also definitely swear by! 2-3 drops of the Haruharu Black Rice Facial Oil answers my skin concerns. This facial oil is made up of natural plant-derived oils. Its ingredients help promote the generation of new skin cells and protect the skin from free radicals. When I wake up in the morning, I see that glow on my skin. The lovely scent feels like I am having at-home spa. Twice a week is just enough for my skin and more often on blustery days.

Tips that might be useful:

Re-apply SPF every two hours even in indoors.

Avoid water at least two hours before bed to avoid puffiness and water retention.
